With a large-scale last-minute offer campaign, TUI is aiming to boost demand for this summer. As announced by the head of TUI Germany, Benjamin Jacobi, at the annual conference of the TUI Travel Star travel agency network, the company is preparing to offer discounts of up to 50%.
The campaign starts in the coming days and will last until November 9, with intense promotion via radio, travel agency windows, social media, and digital TV channels. The offers will only be available for a few days and will be constantly updated in the booking system, with an initial target in May and popular destinations such as Mallorca, Crete, and the Turkish Riviera.
According to Jacobi, most offers will be available at higher prices than the corresponding advance bookings; however, in some cases, depending on the pricing policy of the partner airlines and hotels, there will be more advantageous options. “The discounts are passed on directly to the customers,” he stressed.
TUI also sees this campaign as an opportunity for travel agencies, inviting its partners to identify customers who have not yet made a booking due to financial constraints and inform them about last-minute opportunities.
At the same time, the “TUI Extra Stars” campaign continues until June 3, while for travelers who plan their holidays early, the company plans to open the majority of the summer program for 2026 as early as mid-May.
