A Greek at the helm of F&B at Pacifica Hotels in California

The new Vice President of Food & Beverage at Pacifica Hotels in California is Greek-born Gus Laliotis, with decades of experience in the industry.

For the past 20 years, Mr. Laliotis was part of Evolution Hospitality, where he was a key figure in shaping the company’s identity in the food and beverage segment.

He played a significant role in the launch of the iconic Hard Rock Hotel San Diego, which was one of Evolution Hospitality’s most complex F&B projects.

As Vice President of Food & Beverage, he contributed to defining and upgrading Evolution’s hotel portfolio, giving each of them a strong and distinct gastronomic approach.

Mr. Laliotis is beloved for his ability to cultivate talent and raise the level of the teams he works with. His leadership has guided countless chefs and F&B managers to flourish in their careers.

Mr. Laliotis leads with his heart and a deep sense of purpose, inspiring those who work alongside him, Pacifica Hotels notes.

Beyond the kitchen, he and his wife, Kari, share a love of food, travel, and family, particularly their frequent visits to Greece and the times they spend cooking together.

Mr. Laliotis is also the father of three children: Jordan, Chase, and Acacia—each of whom is named after one of his favorite wines or wineries, a symbolic reference to his lifelong passion.

In embarking on this new chapter with Pacifica Hotels, Mr. Laliotis brings with him not only vast experience but also a dynamic approach that will help shape the future of the F&B sector for the company and its guests.

Pacifica Hotels was founded in 1993 to consolidate the hospitality operations of Invest West Financial Corporation, which has been engaged in the acquisition, development, renovation, and operation of quality hotel properties and other commercial real estate for nearly 30 years.
