Athens public transport employees have announced a series of work stoppages from Tuesday (September 12) until Friday (September 15) to protest against the deteriorating state of the public transport system and the long waits for commuters.
On Tuesday (September 12): trains will not operate from 21.00 until the end of the shift
On Wednesday (September 13): buses will not operate from the start of the shift until 09.00 and from 21.00 until the end of the shift
On Thursday (September 14): 24h strike on the Proastiakos suburban railway line
On Friday (September 15): Work stoppage at electric railway (line 1) from 12.00 to 15.00.
