The tunnel of Platamonas on the Athens-Thessaloniki motorway will close from 22:00 at night and until 06:00 the following morning, starting on Monday and until Thursday, ANA reports.
The tunnels will close for maintenance work and an upgrade of their electronic systems and traffic will be interrupted in both directions along the section of the motorway from Platamonas interchange to Leptokarya interchange, with vehicles diverted to the old Athens-Thessaloniki national road through Tempi Valley.
