Athens Urban Transport Organisation (OASA) management met with executives of Seoul-based giant LG, who has manufactured and operates the automated ticket collection system in Athens transport in collaboratoin with Terna Energy, ANA reports.
OASA board director Tasos Tastanis announced that “the implementation of the system, despite any difficulties encountered, is already well under way,” while CEO Ioannis Skoumbouris noted that “the first results from the shutting down of the gates are extremely encouraging, something which proves the dynamic of the e-ticket.”
