Athens Transport service OASA readies order for 92 new buses

The Athens Urban Transport Organisation (OASA) is going ahead with an important step in upgrading its services as, after introducing the telematics system and electronic ticket services, the organisation is going ahead with the acquisition of 92 modern anti-pollution buses, ANA reports.

“It is an important development, given that the last tender for the supply of buses was issued in 2005,” Ioannis Skoubouris, OASA chief executive told ANA-MPA, stressing that 30 million euros has been secured to pay for them. Out of the total 92 buses,
