Final pilot of SENSKIN infrastructure sensor on Egnatia Motorway bridge this Friday

The final pilot of the EU-funded infrastructure monitoring and maintenance sensor system SENSKIN – financed by the EU’s Horizon 2020 programme – is to take place on the Egnatia Motorway this Friday, ANA reports.

The test of the sensor is carried out as part of an international seminar by the Metsovion Interdisciplinary Research Centre (MIRC) of the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) in Metsovo, along with other members of the consortium that developed the system.

The system has already had one successful test on May 24-25 in Istanbul and its final pilot will be on a bridge on the Egnatia Motorway.
