Athens new underground train tunnel moves ahead towards Sepolia

Ιn coming days the joint venture Intrakat-Sidiridromika Erga is expected to sign the contract regarding the construction of an underground tunnel for the Sepolia train line, in a development seen improving the broader area, ANA reports.

The project is expected to take four and a half years, which means that it will be concluded in 2023. The deal, which has been approved by parliament, relates to the train line running from Attica Square through to Sepolia. It will cost 66.6 million euros and is being paid for by the European Union’s Connecting Europe Facility 2014-2020.
