Greek city of Trikala in Thessaly to launch first driverless bus route

The council of Trikala said on Friday that it will launch a bus line that will be serviced by driverless buses to meet the needs of the city. The municipality has operated on a test basis a driverless bus in the city, in a first for the country, ANA reports.

The new bus route will link the city’s sports academy (TEFAA) with the bus station for long distance trips.
