Workers at metro Lines 2 and 3 will go on strike on Wednesday, as part of a wave of protests over the new development omnibus, with buses and trolleys only running from 0900 to 2100, ANA reports.
The 24-hour strike will also affect the intercity trains and the suburban train (Proastiakos), all of which will not operate.
The staff of the Isap electric train (Piraeus-Kifissia) and the tram had not announced their plans as of this writing.
Furthermore, the Athens Labor Center called on all workers to join it in a protest rally at Klafthmonos Square at 1100 on Wednesday.
The metro will also hold a work stoppage from 1200 to 1500 on Thursday, while the intercity trains and Proastiakos are considering strike action on that day as well.
