Plan to restore buses and metro trains to normal operation underway in Greece

 Greece’s Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport and the Athens public transport body OASA have already launched a plan to gradually restore the normal operation of buses and the Athens metro, by increasing the number of vehicles in service, Infrastructure and Transport Minister Costas Karamanlis said on Thursday in an interview with MEGA TV, according to ANA.

   He offered assurances that all the necessary measures will be taken for the ‘day after’ so that all rules for the health of the citizens are strictly observed while he confirmed that the obligatory use of a mask while using public transport is being discussed with the health ministry.
