Greek Infrastructure and Transport Minister Kostas Karamanlis on Friday referred to the significant increase in the number of buses, the hirings of drivers, and the major projects that will kick off in 2021, speaking to Parapolitika radio, according to ANA.
Karamanlis said that there are now 1,280 buses in circulation and 1,100 bus services have been added every day, while another 609 hirings will be concluded in January when the first new leased vehicles will arrive in Greece. “We understand that the citizens need and demand much better public transport services and we are working hard every day to improve [them],” he said.
