Attica tram drivers to hold four-hour strike on Wednesday morning

Attica tram drivers have announced plans for a four-hour strike on Wednesday, from 10:00 in the morning until 14:00 in the afternoon. The strike is held in protest at the poor functioning of the tram’s telematic system, ANA reports.

They noted that the new telematics system installed in March 2019 in order to improve services “has achieved entirely the opposite so far” and causes major problems that remain unresolved for the last 22 months, including financial losses for the company and safety issues.
