Taxi drivers on 24-hour strike in Greece on Thursday

Taxi drivers will hold a rally and a 24-hour strike on Thursday to protest “what the Transport ministry has not done for the taxis,” they said on Wednesday, ANA reports.

Their complaints included private services and taxi apps which they claimed “eat away at the taxi driver’s daily wages” and they accused the government of indifference, which is contributing to “the slow death of taxis.”
