rime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, accompanied by other passengers, participated in the inaugural trial operation of the Thessaloniki metro on Thursday. Mitsotakis embarked on the entire journey, from the new railway station to the Pylea depot, marking the realization of his government’s commitment to deliver the most advanced metro system in Europe to the people of Thessaloniki.
“The Thessaloniki metro is now undergoing a trial operation, and those who joined us today witnessed the fulfillment of this government’s promise,” Mitsotakis noted.
Moreover, the prime minister received a guided tour of the Metro Operations Control Centre.
