Car sales rise 5.6% in Greece during May

Car sales grew 5.6% in May totaling 22,877 vehicles (new or used ones), from 21,665 in the corresponding month last year, Hellenic Statistical Authority said on Tuesday, ANA reports.

New car sales totaled 13,820 in May, up 7.7% from May 2022. In the five-month period from January to May, car sales totaled 89,885, up 13.8% from the same period last year, with new car sales growing 29.5% to 61,685 vehicles from 47,633 in 2022.
