Athens will be without taxis on February 27-28 due to a 48-hour strike, the Attica Taxi Drivers’ Union (SATΑ) decided in an extraordinary meeting of its administrative council on Wednesday, ANA reports.
The taxi drivers described the government’s economic model as “a cause of war”, claiming it has targeted every form of individual entrepreneurship in Greece.
During the strike, SATA will organize a general assembly of the sector at the Peristeri Exhibition Center (Feb. 28) to align its founding charter with what is stipulated by current legislation.
