Every month the number of new buses running in Attica is increasing, Infrastructure and Transport Minister Christos Staikouras said during his visit on Monday to the OASA bus depot in Thrakomakedones, accompanied by Deputy Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, responsible for Transport, Vasilis Economou, the general secretary of Transport Despina Paliaroutas and the CEO of OASA, George Spiliopoulos, ANA reports.
Today, as part of the OASA tender, 35 new, modern buses with anti-pollution technology are going into service on 11 bus lines. Together with the 75 buses already in circulation in Attica, as well as the 140 new electric vehicles of OSY, the total number of new buses that have been added to the urban transport fleet now amounts to 250.
