Deputy Minister of Infrastructure and Transport Vasilis Oikonomou visited the tram depot in Ellinikon on Monday to assess the network’s needs and explore ways to improve its operations, ANA reports.
“Today’s visit to the depot and Line 7 of the tramway aimed to evaluate the needs and growth potential of these vital lines, which serve thousands of citizens daily. The routes, including the stretch along the coastal road with views of the Saronic Gulf and the city’s scenic landmarks, provide a unique commuting experience. I spoke with employees, passengers, and management, and we all agree that improving the reliability and frequency of service is a top priority,” Oikonomou noted.
