The Athens metro station “Panepistimio” will be closed from 9:00 on Friday, while the “Monastiraki” metro station will be closed between 11:00 and 15:00 and then again after 17:00. Trains will pass through these stations without stopping, ANA reports.
The closure of the stations was ordered by the police due to the rallies and marches organized for the 16-year anniversary since the murder of teenager Alexandros Grigoropoulos by a police officer.
