Virgin Voyages has announced its third ship, The Resilient Lady, is scheduled to be completed by July 1, 2022. Her home port will be Athens, from where she will offer two ‘dreamy’ European itineraries, greekcitytimes.com reports.
‘The Resilient Lady’ two itineraries:
The “Greek Isles Itinerary” includes stops in Santorini, Rhodes, Crete, and Mykonos islands with an overnight stay in Mykonos.
The “Adriatic (with Greek Isles) Itinerary” departs from Athens with a stop in Dubrovnik, Croatia, and Kotor, Montenegro, before returning to Greece for port calls to Corfu island and Argostoli.
“Sailing in the Med is such an extraordinary experience, and we’re so excited to bring the adventure of a Virgin Voyage to this beautiful place,” noted Sir Richard Branson, Founder of Virgin Group.
“I’m so proud of the incredible work the team has accomplished to introduce Resilient Lady,” he added.
‘The Resilient Lady’ will feature a “Michelin-starred chef collective” responsible for all on-board dining experiences across over 20 eateries and made-to-order food included in the cruise fare.
Passengers are also able to maintain their self-care routine at sea as the ship has a spa, cycling studio, yoga studio, and full outdoor track.
“Welcoming Resilient Lady to our ?eet and revealing these amazing itineraries sets the tone for the most memorable summer voyage. We know the time to travel is on the horizon, and Virgin Voyages is here so that we can keep dreaming of irresistible vacations ahead,” said Tom McAlpin, CEO, and President of Virgin Voyages.
