Greek Transport Ministry posts city bus procurement bid for public consultation

Public consultation for the purchase of 800 new city buses was posted by the Infrastructure & Transport Ministry on Friday, according to ANA.

The consultation concerns an online bid worth a total of 372 million euros (VAT included) for the following kind of buses to be used in Athens and Thessaloniki, to upgrade their fleets.

These buses will be added to the two cities’ urban network during Phase I, which will be followed by another bid for 500 buses. The latter will take place within 2021, the ministry said.
