Cruises from Israel to Rhodes resume – Turkish journalists on the island

Cruises from Israel to Rhodes are starting again, after a temporary interruption due to developments in the Middle East. It is noteworthy that the cruise ship Crown Iris has already resumed its itineraries, allowing Israeli visitors to visit the island again and enjoy its beauty and rich cultural heritage.

The ship, which will approach Rhodes at approximately 15:30 and depart after midnight or early in the morning for the next destination, Agios Nikolaos, Crete, gives its passengers the opportunity to tour the Medieval City, explore the local shops, and taste the local cuisine in restaurants in the area.

Despite the difficulties caused by the ongoing hostilities in the region, the resumption of cruises is an important step towards boosting tourism from one of Rhodes’ key markets. In addition, the gradual resumption of flights between Israel and Greece is expected, which will further boost arrivals to the island. In any case, this development sends a positive message for the local economy, paving the way for the recovery of a critical sector and the return of Israeli visitors to Rhodes.

Turkish journalists will also visit Rhodes on Thursday to get to know the island. Their visit is organized by hoteliers and organizations in Rhodes and will last from July 3 to 8. During their stay, they will be hosted in hotels and will have the opportunity to get to know the history, culture, gastronomy, and hospitality of the island
