The infrastructure and transport ministry on Friday revealed for public consultation, lasting until December 27, a draft law on waterways that aims at the immediate reactivation of seaplane transport in Greece, ANA reports.
The draft law includes new regulations on the “procedures for the foundation, operation, and exploitation of airports on water surfaces,” in order to facilitate the licensing process by simplifying the relevant procedures and establishing a “safe and comprehensive institutional framework” which will favor their development.
