The Directorate of Rural Economy and Veterinary Medicine of the Regional Unit of Pieria of the Region of Central Macedonia announced a competitive tender for the concession of a land area of 3,082 sq.m. for the expansion of a tourist unit in the Plaka area of Litochoro at a price managed by the Ministry of Rural Development and Food.
The open and oral auction will be held by the Pieria Land and Dispute Resolution Committee on Wednesday, September 3, between 09.00 and 09.30 a.m. in the conference room of the Regional Council of the Regional Unit of Pieria.
The starting price is set at 80% of its rental value, i.e. 4,439.22 euros per year.
The concession price for the use of the property is paid annually to the Public Financial Service within three months from the date specified in the concession decision as revenue of 50% of the State and 50% as revenue of the Regional Unit of Pieria. The bidder must submit the payment receipt for the use price to the Civil Land Department of the Directorate of Agricultural Economy and Veterinary of the Regional Unit of Pieria.
The duration of the concession of the use of the property is set at 25 years, with the possibility of extension, with a maximum limit of 10 years. Exceptionally, a longer concession period beyond 25 years may be agreed, only for investment purposes, provided that the duration of the concession is required for the amortization of the investment or for its inclusion in an investment law or program, which in any case cannot exceed 40 years.
Participation in the auction requires the deposit of a Participation Guarantee Letter written in Greek, by each interested party, from a recognized credit institution, at a rate of ten percent 10% of the bid limit, i.e. 443.92 euros, which will be addressed to the Land Issues and Dispute Resolution Committee of the Regional Unit of Pieria and will be valid for at least 6 months after the date of the auction.
After signing the contract, the concessionaire replaces the participation guarantee letter with another, for an amount equal to 10% of the total price achieved, for the payment of the price and compliance with the terms of the concession decision.
