Film school of global reach to open its doors in Syros island

In a press conference, American director and producer Steven Bernstein presented his proposal for the setting up of a film school and an audiovisual production studio on the Greek island of Syros. This is an investment of over 250 million euros. The school will open its doors in about a month and as Steven Bernstein stressed, it will be aimed at students from Greece, who will study for free, as well as to foreign students who will pay fees.

The award-winning American director and screenwriter also announced that he will be teaching at the school, together with other instructors from Hollywood, London and Athens. According to Bernstein, there is a great interest from foreign instructors to come and teach in Greece.
