One of the most important caves in the country

The Alistrati Cave is one of the most impressive and best-developed caves in Greece. It has rich stalactite and stalagmite decoration, with breathtaking formations, while extending to a depth of several hundred meters. According to speleologists, the cave is over 2 million years old and hosts rare organisms, such as the tiny Rhinolophus bat. Finally, its location, near the Aggitis River, allows the visit to be connected to the gorge and the underground river, creating a unique experience of exploration, natural beauty, and cultural interest.
