The Amadeus Bistro Portal app is a useful tool for travel agents to search for and book accommodation, with a variety of accommodation options.
From the second quarter of 2025, Amadeus is adding hotel reviews from the Holidaycheck platform, which covers German-speaking countries, to the app. The addition was a request from travel agents in German-speaking markets, as this way they will no longer have to constantly switch between systems to find hotel reviews.
Holidaycheck reviews complement Amadeus’ existing trusted reviews. They are integrated in such a way that hotels can be filtered according to various criteria, such as recommendation rate and overall rating when searching for offers.
With more than twelve million hotel reviews for more than two million hotels and more than 15 million holiday photos from travelers, Holidaycheck remains the most important hotel review portal in the German-speaking market. The reviews are based on the personal experiences of holidaymakers and are subject to detailed checks to prevent fraud.
Reviews integrated “directly into the workflow”
Amadeus Bistro Portal Manager Ljiljana Budalic said that integrating Holidaycheck “directly into the workflow” of travel agents helps its users to make their advice even more effective.
Interested travel agencies can order HolidayCheck reviews from the second quarter. The use of Holidaycheck reviews costs 2.50 euros per month and license (multi-user license with five workstations using Bistro Portal).
Amadeus will present its growth strategy during ITB from March 4 to 6 in Berlin at stand 117 in hall 5.1.
