Greece’s Blue Flag Marinas presented in Scandinavia

The implemented environmental policies and advanced services of Greece’s Blue Flag marinas will be presented for the first time to the Scandinavian public, during the 3rd exhibition for Greece and Cyprus, GREKLAND PANORAMA MED CYPERN on February 11-13, 2016, in Stockholm.

The Swedish market is deemed ideal for promoting marine tourism, since Swedish travelers are famous for their appreciation for the sea and tradition in sailing and, organizers and tourism consultants North Events noted that Greece’s Blue Flag marinas will have a dedicated pavilion in the exhibition.

 Environmental sensitivity

The comparative advantages of Greek marinas will be advertised to some 11,000 potential customers, contacts for future promotions and offers will be sought after and the marinas’ elevated environmental standards that comply with the internationally recognized eco-label of the Blue Flag are expected to be highly appreciated, given the environmental sensitivity and profound interest of Swedish tourists.

The exhibition will be held under the auspices of the Greek Tourism Ministry, the Greek National Tourism Organization, the Greek Tourism Confederation (SETE), the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels, the Hellenic Hotel Federation, the Hellenic Association of Travel and Tourist Agencies (HATTA) as well as the Hellenic-Swedish Chamber of Commerce.
