The luxury King of Bahrain Yacht “Alwaeli” docked at the Greek port of Kavala earlier this week, according to local media reports.
The vessel arrived in Kavala from Skopelos island and was scheduled to depart on Thursday.
The same reports indicate that memebrs of the royal family are aboard along with reinforced security personnel and that a smaller boat is used for swimming on various beaches in the area.
The yacht Alwaeli (formerly Awal) is a 68m (223.10ft) motor yacht, custom built in 1991 by CRN Shipyard in Ancona (Italy). Terence Disdale is responsible for her beautiful exterior and interior design. Superyacht Alwaeli has a steel hull and aluminium superstructure with a beam of 11.50m (37.73ft) and a 3.50m (11.48ft) draft. Performance + Capabilities. Alwaeli is capable of 19.5 knots flat out, with a range of 6000nm.
The yacht Alwaeli offers accommodation for up to 24 guests in 12 suites. She is also capable of carrying up to 19 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
