The tender for the PPP project concerning the construction and operation of Nafplion marina, has been officially launched by the Region of Peloponnese, ypodomes.com reports.
The tender will be proceeding in two phases. The first one will be the expression of interest while Phase B’ will involves the dialogue and the submission of binding offers. The tender will be completed with the contract awards. Indicative costs are not yet available while interested parties will be invited to express their interest on September 17, 2019.
The funding will have to be found by the investor. The contract duration will be 40 years including the period required for the studies, licensing and construction (estimated at nearly 3 years). More details about the PPP project (i.e. deadlines, PPP duration, etc.) will be determined during the second phase of the tender procedure.
The goal of the upcoming tender is to designate a private party which, through the partnership agreement, will have the responsibility to conduct all required studies, licensing and construction of the project, as well secure its financing and operation, with modern and quality terms, security and thoroughness of the services provided.
