Greek construction firm signs concession agreement for Alimos marina

AKTOR Concessions has announced the signing of a concession agreement with the Greek state for the Alimos marina -the largest marina in the Balkans- for a period of 40 years, for a price of 57.5 million euros, according to ANA.

In an announcement issued on Monday, AKTOR Concessions noted the agreement was signed with the competent ministers-representatives of the Greek State, the Public Properties Company (ETAD), HRADF and the concessionaire “ DEVELOPMENT OF NEW ALIMOS MARINA”. The Agreement foresees the concession for a period of 40 years – with the right of mutual extension for another 10 years – of Alimos Marina right of use, operation, management and development, representing a total investment of 100 million euros with multiple added value.

 It is the first concession of a marina signed by HRADF after an e-auction process. The total value of the agreement surpasses 177 million euros. The Alimos marina covers a land area of approximately 210,000 sq.m. and a sea zone of around 428,000 sq.m. It currently offers around 1,100 berths.
