Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis is to visit the Corinth Canal on Friday at 16:00 according to a press release from the prime minister’s office, ANA reports. The visit was originally scheduled for 17:00.
The Corinth Canal in southern Greece, which had been closed to traffic since February 2021, after a series of landslides made it unnavigable, is set to reopen for ships in July, the country’s sovereign wealth fund HCAP has announced.
