The Chinese shipbuilding company Hunan Haiquan Yacht is attempting a dynamic penetration into the Greek market, which manufactures high-quality speedboats, catamarans, yachts and luxury yachts, covering a wide range of sizes, from small boats to super yachts. The boats are made of materials such as plastic, aluminum or steel and combine innovation with excellent construction quality and competitive prices. The Hunan Haiquan Yacht shipyard aims to compete with major European manufacturers in the shipbuilding industry, offering high-standard products for the European market.
In this context, an event was held on Tuesday, October 14 at the Divani Caravel Hotel, during which an exclusive agency agreement was signed between the Chinese shipbuilding company Hunan Haiquan Yacht, represented by Mr. Li Jianbo, and the Greek company D.Thomas Marine, represented by Mr. Dimitrios Thomas and Mr. Dimitrios Kyriakides, for the markets of Greece, Cyprus, Italy and Croatia.
The event was held in the presence of representatives of the Chinese Embassy in Greece, the Mayor of Yiyang city in Hunan province, as well as important personalities such as Mr. Stavros Voidonikolas, Deputy Governor of Piraeus, Mr. Ioannis Theofanopoulos, President of the Greece-China Friendship Association, former Ambassadors of Greece to China, as well as Chinese and Greek Businessmen.
With this agreement, D.Thomas Marine strengthens its position in the European maritime industry, ensuring the exclusive distribution and representation of Hunan Haiquan Yacht products in the aforementioned countries. At the same time, this cooperation opens up new growth prospects for the Greek maritime industry of tourist boats and ships connecting the Greek islands.
