PPA S.A. confirms its commitment to corporate social responsibility and the protection of the rights of all passengers, through its collaboration with the Institute of the National Confederation of Persons with Disabilities & Chronic Illnesses (IN-ESAmeA).
Within the framework of this collaboration, the training program “Service-Provision of Assistance to Passengers with Disabilities, Chronic Illnesses & Reduced Mobility” is being implemented, with the aim of strengthening the specialization and awareness of PPA S.A.’s human resources on issues of inclusion and access of all passengers to port services.
The company’s executives have the opportunity to receive modern theoretical and practical training, under the guidance of instructors with and without disabilities, from the most official training body on disability and chronic diseases in Greece, IN-ESAmeA.
The program is aimed at more than 1,000 executives of PPA S.A., providing them with information and familiarization with the best practices for serving and supporting people with visual impairment, motor disability or reduced mobility, deafness/hard of hearing, intellectual, cognitive, developmental or mental disabilities, as well as with other disabilities and chronic diseases.
This initiative highlights the significant contribution of PPA S.A. to the formation of a positive and safe travel experience for all passengers, while promoting a rights-based approach to disability.
