Social Tourism: Voucher Validity Extended to 13 Months

The Greek Ministry of Labor and Social Security has extended the period for using social tourism vouchers.

According to the new ministerial decision published in the Government Gazette (FEK), which updates the previous regulation for the 2025–2026 Social Tourism Program, the program duration has increased from 12 to 13 months.

Key details:

Beneficiaries can stay from 1 to 6 nights across all regions of Greece.

Exceptions:

Islands of Leros, Lesbos, Chios, Kos, Samos, and Rhodes: up to 10 nights allowed.

Municipalities of Istiaia-Aidipsos, Mantoudi-Limni-Agia Anna (Evia), and the regional units of Magnesia, Karditsa, Larissa, Trikala, and Evros: up to 12 nights allowed.

The program targets 300,000 beneficiaries. Its goal is to promote the cultural, social, and personal development of employees and their families through high-quality tourism services, subsidized via the Social Tourism Voucher.
