Athens Metro service frequency to increase after August 31

The frequency of the metro service in Athens will increase as of August 31 in an attempt to prevent overcrowding in trains and the spread of coronavirus infections, ANA reports.

As of September 7, and until further notice, trains will also increase in frequency on all lines: every 6 minutes on line 1 (Isap), every 4.5 minutes on line 2, and every 4 minutes along line 3.
