Greek Transport Minister attends arrival of first two new tram trains

Greek Transport Minister Kostas Karamanlis on Monday attended the arrival of the first two of twenty-five new tram trains that will see the complete upgrade of the capital city’s tram network, ANA reports.

The 25 new trains carry the brand name Citadisτου of the Alstom company and are expected to offer the latest technological advantages for drivers and passengers alike. The full fleet of 25 will arrive in Athens by May 2021.
