Five downtown Athens metro stations reopen after brief closure on Saturday

The Athens metro stations of ‘Syntagma’, ‘Omonia’, ‘Panepistimio’, ‘Akropolis’ and ‘Sygrou-Fix’ have been reopened by order of the police, after a brief closure Saturday afternoon, ANA reports.

The Athens tram has also resumed in its entirety, after closing the section between Vouliagmenis Avenue and Syntagma Square.
