Hellenic Train: Buses to transport passengers for free on certain routes from March 15

Hellenic Train announced that buses will start operating as of Wednesday, March 15, to transport passengers on certain routes, until rail traffic is restored, ANA reports.

Further details are expected to be announced later on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Minister of State responsible for Infrastructure and Transport Giorgos Gerapetritis met anew with railway staff unions on Monday to discuss the safe rebooting of Greece’s railway network following the deadly train collision at Tempi on February 28, until the new ETCS train control and signaling system is operational at the end of next September.
