The Municipality of Skiathos continues its targeted tourism promotion at an international level, with another important action abroad. From 16 to 29 June 2025, the island of Skiathos is being dynamically promoted on the London Underground, in 40 central stations, reaching millions of residents and visitors of the British capital.
This is a continuation of Skiathos’ successful presence in London for the sixth consecutive year, within the framework of the tourism promotion strategy implemented by the Municipality in selected high-value international markets.
Skiathos’ presence in high-traffic points of the British metropolis is part of the Municipality’s overall plan for the tourist promotion of the island and the strengthening of its international tourist identity, with an emphasis on key markets in Northern and Central Europe.
The campaign in London is part of a wider series of promotions that also includes the cities of Stockholm, Paris, Zurich and Vienna, strengthening the tourism brand of Skiathos in strategic points in Europe.
The stable presence of the destination in London for six consecutive years confirms the targeted and long-term tourism promotion strategy implemented by the municipality, as characteristically stated.
