Celestyal renews ‘Images of Arabia’ cruises for 2025

Celestyal, which completed its first season in the Arabian Gulf in March, has announced the renewal of its new 2025 programme of three- and four-night ‘Images of Arabia’ Arabian Gulf cruises on Celestyal Discovery.

Based on feedback from the extremely popular first season from guests and from its valued team of travel agents and local partners, the cruises will now include additional calls in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Doha, with the introduction of Ras Al Khaimah as a new port of call.

The new cruises have been renamed and are as follows:

“Images of Arabia”, featuring Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sir Bani Yas Island: three-night long weekend cruises, departing on Fridays and returning from Abu Dhabi, visiting the dazzling sights of Dubai and then on to the unique Sir Bani Yas Island for a combination of beach and wildlife safari experiences. Prices start from €309 per person.

“Images of Arabia”, featuring Abu Dhabi, Doha, and Oman – four-night weekday cruises: departing on Mondays and returning from Abu Dhabi, visiting the iconic cities of Doha and Dubai (via Ras Al Khaimah) in combination with the tranquil port of Qasab in Oman. Prices start from €389 per person.

The above prices are part of the current ‘Dream Vacations’ offer, which is available for new bookings made until 16 March 2025 and includes up to €100 in complimentary specialty drinks and meals per person, pre-paid to each guest’s CelestyalPay digital wallet.

Lee Haslett, Celestyal’s Chief Commercial Officer, said: “We aim to deliver unforgettable experiences, so we are constantly listening to our guests and travel agent team. After a hugely successful first season in the Arabian Gulf, we learned more about what our guests and partners would like to see, and we are delighted to announce these changes based on their feedback. Since the launch of our winter Arabian Gulf cruises, we have been thrilled with the positive response and growing interest from both our returning and new guests in exploring this stunning region.

“Passengers have told us they love iconic destinations like Dubai, Doha, and Abu Dhabi, as well as discovering lesser-known ports that are synonymous with a Celestyal cruise, such as Sir Bani Yas Island and the beach resort of Khasab. We are known for our destination- and port-focused cruises, which is why we have revamped our 2025 cruises to offer more time in our guests’ favorite ports while adding an additional port in stunning Ras Al Khaimah.”

The 1,360-passenger Celestyal Discovery will begin her maiden season in the Arabian Gulf on December 12, 2025, with her sister ship, the 1,260-passenger Celestyal Journey, returning to the Arabian Gulf on December 6, 2025. Celestyal Journey will operate its popular “Desert Days” cruise as scheduled, kicking off the season with a celebratory Abu Dhabi Grand Prix cruise. Celestyal will then offer a mix of seven, three, and four-night Gulf cruises from December through March on both ships for the next three consecutive seasons.

*CelestyalPay, introduced last year, is a prepaid digital food and beverage wallet used onboard to purchase food and beverages that are not available for free. Passengers can either charge their account as they travel or prepay CelestyalPay before sailing or on the first day of the cruise to receive bonus credit from the company.
