Mykonos cruises will start earlier this year, with the first call scheduled for March 14. Cruise ship arrivals for 2025 will be completed around the end of November.
The relevant announcement by the Port Fund states that, despite the increase in arrivals, there is a smooth distribution on a daily basis, thanks to the berth allocation system, as previously announced, which ensures the rational arrival of visitors from cruise ships, without burdening the destination.
It is recalled that the “Island of the Winds” has, in total, six entrances to the old and new port, while with the modernization of the port facilities in terms of infrastructure and security and the strengthening of the executive potential, there will be a smooth operation in the disembarkation and boarding process so that cruise ship passengers can move comfortably and get to know the place without hassle.
According to the detailed program, which was made public, approximately 900 cruise ship arrivals with almost 1.5 million passengers are expected within the year, compared to 768 approaches in 2024 with 1,290,000 passengers.
