Greek passenger shipping company Blue Star Ferries offers a 30% discount on tickets of travellers that will vacation this summer on the islands of Lesvos, Chios, Kos and Leros.
The company made the offer in cooperation with the islands’ hotel associations, aiming to reverse the negative climate regarding the four islands due to the refugee crisis.
As it announced: “This action aims to support the islands that welcomed and hosted massive numbers of refugees for a long time and to boost their tourism.”
The offer is valid for all categories of passenger tickets, including cars and motorcycles, provided that travellers provide confirmation of a minimal 4-night stay in a hotel or lodge on one of the specific destinations at the company’s local collaborating agencies.
