ANEK Lines said its EBITDA fell to 25.6 million euros in 2016 from 29.6 million in 2015, reflecting a decline in gross earnings pre-amortizations by 3.3 million euros. Consolidated gross earnings totaled 41.1 million euros in 2016 from 42.6 million in 2015. Net after tax and minorities earnings totaled 600,000 euros last year, while turnover was 157.6 million euros from 159.8 million in 2015. Revenue from domestic shipping operations was 60.6 million euros in 2016 from 65.7 million in the previous year, while revenue from international operations was 87.8 million euros from 85.8 million euros in 2015, while revenue from other activities was 9.2 million euros in 2016 from 8.3 million in 2015.
The group operates in the Greek seas and the Adriatic Sea. Passenger traffic totaled one million, unchanged from 2015, while vehicle traffic rose to 188,000 and lorries were down to 133,000.
