A new ferryboat route will link Turkey’s Dikili with Lesvos island in Greece from April 25, boosting tourism and business in both areas, the mlatter’s Deputy Mayor Mustafa Tosun said.
According to him , this connection is important for maintaining friendly Greek-Turkish ties and trade relations.
The trips will last 30 minutes and will take place every Tuesday.
Mr. Tosun expressed the intention to expand the routes as well as the expectation of attracting thousands of Greek visitors to Dikili on the occasion of the bazaar that takes place every Tuesday in the area.
