Boats resume normal schedules at Rafina and Lavrio ports in Greece as winds ease

Boat schedules at Rafina and Lavrio ports in Greece are back to normal as of midday Friday, following a drop in wind velocity and the improvement of weather conditions generally.

Some adjustments may be made for certain schedules out of Rafina, northeast of Athens, according to the local port authority, which advised passengers to confirm before coming to the port.

Boats on the Kavala-Prinos route, in northern Greece, remain docked, while those on the Alexandroupoli-Samothrace schedule were expected to resume after 16:00 Friday.
