Ships across Greece will remain docked next Thursday after the Seamens Federation decided to participate in a 24-hour strike called by the General Confederation of Employees of Greece (GSEE).
The strike will begin at 01:00, in the early hours of Thursday morning and continue until midnight.
In an announcement, the federation noted that the problems facing the seamens’ sector are getting worse and intensifying as a result of the “new regulations and cutbacks imposed by the third memorandum”.
