No ferry service across Greece due to PNO strike on Friday

The Greek Seamen’s Federation (PNO) has declared a 24-hour strike in all ship categories on Friday, January 12.

According to PNO’s announcement, the labor union is  protesting against a number of issues including uninsured labor, the increase of unemployment and the reduction of pensions and warns of further strike action in case its demands are not met.

Passengers that have booked ferry tickets are advised to check with their travel agents or contact local port authorities for further information. Those travellers whose trip is cancelled due to the strike are entitled to a full refund of their ticket.
