The Port Authority of Rafina, on Attica prefecture’s eastern coast near Athens, Greece, on Tuesday announced that ferry boat routes to and from its harbor were being conducted normally, while roads leading to Rafina remained open.
Several ferry boat routes linking the country’s mainland to Aegean islands are based in Rafina.
The port town of Rafina is located south of where the worst of the wildfires that erupted in the area the previous day and overnight.
